Nothing really. I might suggest for long haired breeds or animals that have really hair bellies to be shaved before I visit, if they can tolerate it. If this is not possible, on the day I can part the hair for the probe to have contact with the skin to create an image on the ultrasound screen.
Yes, please feed them as normal.
No, the scan is non-invasive, meaning there is nothing to hurt the animal when scanning. There is slight pressure on the skin but this will not hurt the animal and they tolerate the probe really well.
Yes you can come to me. However please be aware that this will be in my home setting.

Animal Microchipping FAQs
In 2015 it became legislation that all dogs were to be chipped before the age of 8weeks old.

There are further details on the links below:
Dogs and Cats: 6 – 8weeks old (depending on size).
Rabbits and other small mammals: 8 – 16weeks old

Not long at all, under a minute to place the chip. The longest part is me filling in the your details to put on the database.
When implanting a chip it is little to no discomfort. Some might yelp but it is very quick.
The microchips are very small, they are the size of a grain of rice. Your animal wont feel the chip after implanted as it will sit between the pets shoulder blades.
Yes, I can offer a discount for litters. Please get in touch to discuss further.
