Ultrasound Scanning – InVision Animal Services

Ultrasound Scanning

InVision Animal Services provides Ultrasound scanning in a non-invasive way and stress-free experience. Forget the travelling and let us bring the ultrasound machine to you. We understand how stressful traveling animals can be, why not let us come to you and scan in the comfort of your own home. Some animals feel unsettled when traveling plus going to a new environment, so by taking the travelling away, it can provide a less stressful experience overall.

All species of animals are different due to gestational period, please see the chart bellow for clearer view of when is best.

Ultrasound gives the breeder insight into numbers which will help with preparations. Scanning is non-invasive, its exactly like a pregnancy scan on humans. There is further information on the link here... https://www.animalultrasoundassociation.org/about-ultrasound-scanning/is-it-safe/
Nothing really. I might suggest for long haired breeds or animals that have really hair bellies to be shaved before I visit, if they can tolerate it. If this is not possible, on the day I can part the hair for the probe to have contact with the skin to create an image on the ultrasound screen.
Yes, please feed them as normal.
No, the scan is non-invasive, meaning there is nothing to hurt the animal when scanning. There is slight pressure on the skin but this will not hurt the animal and they tolerate the probe really well.
Yes you can come to me. However please be aware that this will be in my home setting.
